NG32NW 3 341 259.
NG 341 259. A group of about 15 ruined shielings is situated at the junction of the Caladale Burn and a minor stream at a height of about 900' OD. About 9 of the group are double-cell type in good condition, the remainder show merely as turf mounds, or, in a few instances, as turf rings. (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/Scot/UK/274: 4055-6) Visited by OS (C F W) 7 June 1961.
