NG25NW 3 225 551.
NG 225 551. A depopulated township/farm consisting of about 8 ruined houses, with out-buildings and some garths and/or enclosures, situated on the mainland opposite Lampey Island.
(Described from aerial photographs {Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/Scot/UK 175: 2283-4}. Site not visited at request of local farmer, as time of investigation coincided with lambing.
Visited by OS (A S P) 6 May 1961.
