Clearance cairns at Cnoc Na Sgaile, Buntait.
A few field clearance cairns were noted during the course of a pre-afforestation survey at Buntait by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in 1999. They are visible on a slope now planted with scots pine. The extent of the clearance cairns is ill-defined but possibly 50m northwest-southeast by 20m wide.They were presumably connected with the roundhouse recorded to the northeast outside the plantation. <1>
