Full Description
At the foot of the steep E-facing slopes of Meall Dearg there are four subrectangular drystone huts or pens and a Z-shaped arrangement of field banks. The huts, which are located at the back of a terrace to the W of the field banks, range from 3.9m to 1.9m in length by 1.6m to 2.3m in breadth. All but one, which is much more reduced (ACHIL94 294), stand between 0.6m and 1m in height. The longest has a cell or outshot attached to the E end of the N side, measuring 1.4m across (ACHIL94 292), and another has been sub-divided into two by a secondary partition (ACHIL94 293).
