NN79NW 8 7005 9992 and 7010 0008.

At NN 7005 9992 is an oval stone-walled house ('A') set into the spine of a ridge. It measures 12.0m ESE- WNW by c. 9.5m between the centres of a wall spread to c. 3.0m increasing to 4.0m at the entrance in the ESE. The S arc is mutilated.
At NH 7010 0008 is another house ('B') about 8.5m in diameter between the centres of a mutilated wall which is completely destroyed in the SE arc. No entrance evident.
Some 60m SSW of 'B' are traces of what may be another denuded oval house (about 9.5m E-W by 8.0m).
In the near vicinity of the houses are several stone clearance heaps from contemporary cultivation.

Two hut-circles (KING95 280-1) are situated on adjacent ridges to the N of the River Calder at the mouth of Glen Banchor. The S hut-circle (KING95 280, NN 7005 9992, OS 'A') has been levelled into the spine of a grassy ridge beside the public road. It measures 9.6m from ESE to WSW by 7.2m transversely within a faced bank 1.6m in thickness and 0.4m in height. The terminals of the bank expand to 2.3m on either side of the entrance, which is on the ESE. The second hut-circle (KING95 281, NN 7010 0008, OS 'B') is levelled into the back of a slight terrace on the SE side of a ridge to the N. It measures 7.4m from NW to SE by 6.4m transversely within a faced bank spread to 1.4m in thickness and 0.4m in height. The SE arc of the hut-circle bank has been removed and faint ridges impinge on the interior. There was no trace of the further hut-circle referred to by the previous authority some 60m to the SSW where there is a small, naturally level terrace.
About thirty small cairns (KING95 282), measuring up to 5m in diameter and 0.5m in height, are scattered across the ridges around the hut-circles. Those nearest to the public road on the southern ridge have been reduced to a stony halo by robbing. There are faint traces ridging to the E of the S hut-circle (KING95 280) and to the SE of the N hut-circle (KING95 281).
