A crofting township, a farmstead, three buildings, enclosures and head-dykes are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1879, sheet vii). The crofting township comprises one unroofed, one partially roofed and five roofed buildings. The farmstead (NG 39186280) comprises two roofed buildings. Two unroofed buildings, (NG 3955 6258 and NG 39506266) lie to the E of the township and are each attached to an enclosure. Altogether four enclosures are shown. A roofed building which is annotated as a school (NG 3955 6296) also lies to the E. What may be two phases of head-dyke are shown.

The farmstead comprises one roofed and one unroofed building. The unroofed building to the S is shown as are the four enclosures. The school comprises five roofed buildings. The head dykes are also shown.
