Full Description

Hut-circle. Dimensions: 11 x 10.3m. Circular structure defined by grass-covered walls 1.8m wide, 0.5m high. Internal diameter: 5m. Entrance at the NW.

A farmstead comprising two roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a corn mill and other is a long building, two partially roofed long buildings, two unroofed buildings, a small enclosure and a length of wall is depicted on 1st edition of OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xii). One roofed building and a small enclosure are shown on current edition of OS 1:10560 map (1970).
