Full Description

A small structure adjoining an over-grown trackway which seems to curve up to the hut circle NC45NW 3. It is 13 ft wide and hollow in front of the hut-circle and is defined on both sides by discontinuous lines of stones.
Letter from K Reid to Ordnance Survey, 25 September 1978.

The "small structure" cannot be located. The trackway extends to the E and W of the hut circle, and it occurs elsewhere close by the present road. It is almost certainly the forerunner of the road, and of no great antiquity.
Visited by OS (NKB) 8 November 1978.
