Full Description

NH34SE 5 3857 4167.

Situated some 100m S of the round house described on NH34SE 4, at an altitude of c.185m OD, is a round house, set back into the slope. It is c. 12m in diameter with a wall spread of c. 1.5m and a height of 0.3 to 0.4m. There is an entrance in the ESE.

A walkover survey was undertaken at Strathglass and Strathfarrar by Roland Spencer-Jones and Steve North of NoSAS between 2021 and 2024.

HC12: Large hut circle on south facing slope with stone walls to 0.6m high and best in south & southeast. Wall absent in north and entry probably east. <1>
