A farmstead comprising one partially roofed long building, one unroofed building, four unroofed structures and three enclosures, and a head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxiii). An unroofed, two compartment building and a three compartment enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1976).
