Full Description
In the area centred NH 475 146, approximately 400.0m NW of Easter Drummond, there is a deserted township , comprising the grass-covered footings of 25 buildings , 14 enclosures, 2 corn-drying kilns and extant remains of several field banks surviving to a height of 0.5m - 0.8m. At NH 4747 1475, there are the extant remains of a building with attendant enclosure, which apparently post-dates the other structures. No name is known locally for this township.(Visible on RAF air Photographs 541/A/ 483: 3129-3130)
