Detailed plan drawn up prior to house developments in the field -
NB plot 30 on plan is close to the site of another possible hut circle that sits on this prominent outcrop. HAW 8/2004
Large tringular field to NW of Leith Hall Farm, to which it belongs. Extensive features all over this field. As well as large stone dumps in both the NE & NW corners there are extensive cairns scattered over this field. Several with larger stones perched on top of them. There is another cluster of cairns visible in the NW corner of the field. Plus a marked bank on beither the N or S side of the stream cut through this higher area. Plus a cairn in the mid point of the W side. Needs checking & mapping in detail. - HAW 3/2004
