(NG 335 363) At Ardtreck Point, in a sheltered place below steep rocky slopes, is the depopulated township of Ardtrec (Information from D Steel, Postmaster, Carbost). (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/Scot/UK/175: 1021-2)
There are about 11 ruined houses with associated yards and enclosures. There are lazy-beds.
Visited by OS (A S P) 2 June 1961.

A township, comprising five unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xxxiii). Fourteen unroofed buildings and three enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).
