Full Description
A multi-cell shieling overlying a ruinous possible hut circle (see MHG38878) situated at the foot of a small E facing rocky outcrop. The shieling is a complex grouping of two large cells and three small cells, all are contained within the ruins of the circular structure and have been constructed from the stone robbed from the circular foundation. <1>
The NGR given for this feature and the hut circle in <1> is incorrect. The site is visible in vertical aerial photography and actually lies c.75m to the southeast. The NGR has been adjusted accordingly. <2> <3>
