Full Description
Achnacarich: Two longhouses up to 1.3m high, together with associated enclosures and indications of strip cultivation.
Visited by OS (J B) 28 July 1981.
A farmstead comprising four unroofed buildings, two of which are long buildings, and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xvi). It is shown on the OS 1:10560 map (1963).
