A Farmstead near Achorn Bridge, Latheron.

The site was Scheduled with two other farmsteads (see MHG617 and MHG1671) and an area of prehistoric settlement (see MHG669 and MHG1672) by Historic Scotland in 1991: Two very well preserved buildings - a long house and a kiln barn.

A farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, is depicted on the 1st edition of OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxviii), and is also shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1962).
