Full Description

Reports of feature and photos suplied to SMR. Field exam shows that this is a broad low dyke of dry stones running roughly N-S to E of stream on the western edge of farmed land around Curin settlement (pasture). Could be boundary (particularly if this area is a possible droving stance), but also probably created by stone clearance necessary to plough the land hereabouts. Within the N boundary of the field to the E there is further stone dumping, but much less organised and probably later. Photo - HAW 07/06/2005
