Full Description
On E side of track c 50m S from the barrier there are heat cracked pebbles on top of the banking that has been cut by the track. Noticeable in thus area that topsoil of 18-24" over the underlying moraine subsoil. However a little to the N up the track the topsoil cover is over 2m high - probably more than could be created by clearing the track and upcast beside it - HAW 31/05/2005
