Full Description

A putative prehistoric structure has been identified by David Lynn during a watching brief for a new house at Cleadale. The feature lies below the west side of the road to the north-west of the development site. It consists of at least 5 boulders with no clear structurla pattern lying in boggy ground close to the edge of a loch. The boulders are surrounded by subsurface stone covering an irregular area c. 14m x 7m. The largest boulder is set upright to a height of c. 1.5m. (information supplied by D Lynn , SMR report
