Full Description

A wharf has been constructed at this location on a low promontory about 110m east of the jetty. The beach has been cleared for a distance of 4.5m on the eastern side to allow boats to be tied up alongside, but no mooring rings or bollards could be identified. The wharf was probably constructed to off-load machinery for the Corrantee Lead Mines c.1860.
Information supplied by J Kirby - (Ranachanmore survey, site RM007 - SMR report 1366).
