An extensive system of head-dykes which runs from NG 415 715 to NG 438 737 is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1878, sheet iv). To the E the system is conjoined to the head-dyke associated with the township NG47SW 8 and to the NE it is conjoined with a field-system NG47SE 17.
Some lengths of head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1966).
