A group of thirty-two charcoal burning platforms, on the N-facing slopes overlooking Loch Sunart, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Rahoy Estate. The platforms all lie within the ground enclosed by the plantation dyke
(NM65NW 41) at Coire Buide. A second group of charcoal burning platforms (NM65NW 59), also enclosed by the plantation dyke, lie about 200m to the WSW.
