NC 8400 0015; NH 8193 9806 An archaeological watching brief was carried out on topsoil stripping during development of a waste water treatment works. Archaeological features were identified towards the E end of the development area. These included the remains of a building with a cobbled surface, a wall and an indeterminate stone-founded structure, all enveloped by a mixed layer of midden deposits and demolition spreads. None was identifiable as earlier than the 19th century.
An archive report has been lodged with the NMRS.
