Full Description
NH63SW 69 6219 3367 and 6219 3362.
At NH 6216 3362, in a marshy area near a stream, are two mounds, roughly crecentic in shape, and a third at NH 6219 3367 which seems to have continued round to the E side as a fragmentary bank. There is an upright stone on the SE segment of this feature. They are not unlike burnt mounds, but minor excavation failed to reveal burnt stones, only earth and small pieces of sandstone.
Visited by OS 6th February 1970.
These mounds have been ploughed through by afforestation; they consist of large mounds of shattered and burnt stones.
Visited by J Harden, Inverness Museum, September 1987.
