This Chain Home radar site was situated in a field immediately to the E of Thrumster. The equipment from this site was transferred to Loth radar station (NC91SE 32.00) and the location of the site moved to Tannach (ND34NW 36.00). The site was moved due to the waterlogged state of the ground which created unstable foundations for the structures that were required for the radar station. The equipment for the radar station was mobile. No date for this move has as yet been ascertained.
