One shieling-hut and a pair of oval stone structures, lying on a small shelf under an E-facing crag about 120m W of Loch nam Breac, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Drumbeg Common Grazings.
The shieling-hut measures 4m by 3m within 0.6m wide and 0.3m high stone banks. A second cell, measuring 1.8m by 1.4m internally, abuts the enclosure on the W. On plan, the layout of this structure is very similar to the shieling-hut (NC03SE 18) some 400m to the NW. Home's Plan of the farm of Oldany (1774) depicts a shieling-hut on the SW side of Loch nam Breac which may be the same site.
A pair of oval structures, measuring 1.2m by 0.9m internally, lies some 20m to the E. A third oval structure, measuring 1.5m by 0.9m internally, lies to the N of the shieling-hut.
