Three buildings, situated on a low grassy bank next to the Strontian River, were recorded during a pre-afforestation survey at Ceann a' Chreagain, Strontian. The buildings lie parallel with the river and are each defined by low grassy banks spread up to 1.5m in width and standing up to 0.3m in height. The westernmost building is the smallest; it measures 9m from E to W by 4m and has an entrance at the E end of the N wall. The middle building measures 11m from E to W by 5m with two entrances represented by gaps in the N wall. The E building measures 13m from E to W by 5m and has a single partition midway along it.
The smaller structure, on the W, is likely to be a building whereas the two E structures are wider and may represent the remains of larger buildings or possibly two small enclosures.
