What may be a large unroofed shieling-hut, situated at a height of 430m OD, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1875, sheet xi). One unroofed circular structure which may be a shieling-hut is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
