The cropmark of a possible barrow has been revealed by oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) 130m NW of Kinsteary Cottage at the E side of Auldearn. It is roughly circular in shape, measuring about 10m in diameter, with an indeterminate mark visible in the interior that may represent a burial pit.
