Two possible shieling-huts, situated on the lower, N-facing slope of Tom nan Eildean, were noted during a pre-afforestation survey of the NE part of the Drimnin estate. They survive as very slight oval or circular features defined by raised turf banks, visible in small areas of herb-rich grasses and bracken on the otherwise heather moorland.
