A turf boundary bank, on the NE side of a burn, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of the NE part of the Drimnin estate. At its NW end, it appears to be truncated by the head-dyke around Druimbuidhe (NM65NW 8.00). It commences about 5m to the SE of the head-dyke and runs SE for 152m as a hummocky heather-covered bank between 0.7m and 0.9m wide and 0.4m high. It then continues as a coursed stone wall for 18m, rising striate on the NE side but battered on the SW, before resuming a an overgrown turf bank for a further 150m until it reaches marshy ground around a burn. Beyond the burn, the bank begins to climb the rocky slopes but its course becomes obscured in the heather. It may have joined the boundary bank, (NM65NW 27, NMRS MS 1012/1, no.63) as depicted on 'A plan of the Estate of Drimnin The property of Sir Charles Gordon 1836' by D Wilson (SRO, RHP 3258) although neither bank is visible on the very overgrown, hummocky ground.
