Three roughly-built walls, situated on the muddy foreshore to the SW of Rubha na h-Oitire, were noted during a pre-afforestation survey of the NE part of the Drimnin estate. The purpose of these walls is unclear but they are unlikely to be fish traps. The single wall, at NM 5967 5805, may have formed a collection point for seaware. The parallel walls, at NM 5970 5812, are situated below the high water mark and may be the result of clearing a landing place for a boat.
