A shieling-hut, situated on a grassy terrace at the base of a cliff on a N-facing slope to the E of the Abhainn Poll Luachrain, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of the NE part of the Drimnin estate. The hut measures 8.3m from NNW to SSE by 5.4m with 1.2m wide walls standing up to 0.8m in height. It is subrectangular in plan with round angles and constructed with irregular stones abutting two large boulders.
