The cropmarks of an enclosure has been revealed by oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) 400m NE of Bogside of Brodie farmsteading. It is circular in shape with an internal diameter of about 25m, and it lies within a possible large rectilinear enclosure measuring at least 170m NNE-SSW by 60m transversely. Neither of these enclosures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Nairnshire 1871, sheet ii). There are a number of indeterminate cropmarks in the immediate area.
Information from RCAHMS (KJ) 20 October 1999.
