Aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995) has recorded a possible township on the banks of Allt Fhearnasdail 700m WSW of the possible township of Corarnstilmore (NN89NW 16). Baileguish is described in the Name Book (ONB 1858-61) as a "farmhouse and out offices one story high, thatched, in medium repair", and three roofed buildings and an enclosure are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet ciii). Two unroofed buildings and a modern roofed building are recorded on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971). Recent aerial photography has identified at least five further unroofed buildings, a square structure, a small circular enclosure and a possible kiln in this complex.
