Full Description
It is uncertain at the time of architecture catalogue upgrade exactly which building the following references relate to and also where Braehead is. There is another manse in Halkirk: ND 1324 5851.

[?Halkirk] Estimate of a new house for William Sinclair of Freswick.
Estimate amounts to 120 [pounds] and is accompanied by a sketch of the elevation and floor plan.
Unsigned but address given as Halkirk Manse.

Braehead. Roofing, joisting and making 6 windows included in a joiner's account for work undertaken for William Sinclair of Freswick's house at Braehead.

The other manse referred to above is shown on the 2nd Edition Caithness XVII (1907) as the Free Presbyterian Manse, but it is not on the 1st edition. See ND15 NW 86 (ND1324 5851), Halkirk Free Presbyterian Church and Manse.
