A sheepfold, situated in a small area of grassland on heather moorland at NC 3635 0369, above the confluence of several minor burns on the lower, W-facing slopes of Fhionn Bheinn Mhor, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey at Caplich. The sheepfold measures c.18m in diameter with a turf-capped wall still standing to its original height of 1.8m in places. There is a wide entrance on the E. The sheepfold is depicted as circular on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherlandshire, 1879, sheet c) but is shown as open-ended to the E (at NC 3638 0374) on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1990).
