A possible shieling-hut, situated at, and above the shore of Loch Bruicheach, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of Eskadale Moor. Set on a slight natural shelf on the hillside, the bracken and grass-covered subrectangular hut measures 6m from NE to SW by 3m over a low, 0.5m high turf and boulder bank which is spread to c.1m in width.
