An unusually-shaped plantation, defined by a drystone-dyke, was noted during a pre-afforestation survey of Eskadale Moor. The enclosure is rectangular with concave walls. A similar plantation bank lies to the E at NH 4616 3584 (NH43NE new). Unlike that to the W, this enclosure is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975)
