NC70SE 65 centred on 7695 0030
An area of small cairns, lying in heather and sheltered by a ridge to the W, was noted by J Wordsworth during a pre-afforestation survey. The cairns are spread over an area measuring 150m from E to W by 70m. Although they are situated just to the E of a township (NC70SE 53), the cairns are thought to be prehistoric in date.
