Full Description

A round mound, grass-grown, 44 ft. diameter with a 6 ft depression in the centre. A few boulders round the edge suggest a peristalith.
Information from A A Woodham to OS 9 August 1963.

This mound would appear to be natural, part of a large natural wooded knoll immediately to the south of the deserted croft. It is mutilated by possible quarrying, traces of which can be seen here and there in the large knoll.
Visited by OS (W D J) 5 September 1963.
