A building and a triangular-shaped enclosure lie to the NW of a stony field-bank in an area of lazy-bed cultivation (NG20SE 83.01) to the N of Cnoc Ghreannabric. The grass-grown boulder walls of the enclosure abut the field-bank, which forms its SE side, and define an area measuring 18.6m from NW to SE by 16.9m; the enclosure contains traces of lazy-bed cultivation. The building is situated at the NW apex of the enclosure and is rectangular on plan. It measures 9.5m from NW to SE by 4m transversely within a turf-cored boulder-faced wall spread up to 1.3m in thickness and 0.6m in height. Traces of a plinth are visible at the NW end of the NE side, while the entrance, towards the SE end of the same wall, is flanked by two upright stones, one of which is over 0.7m in height. A small pen or hut has been inserted into the SW corner of the building.
(Canna 97-8, 940).
