Full Description

NH63NE 16 6725 3553.

(Centred NH 6725 3553) Three cairns:
(1) 28 ft in diameter, very large boulders but no suggestion of a chamber.
(2), 20 yds NE of '1': oval, 50 ft N-S by 45 ft E-W, grass-grown, no visible chamber, large boulders visible on top.
(3), 20 yds E of '2': small, 6 ft in diameter and 2 ft high. Information from A A Woodham to OS 9 August 1963.

These three features are all different variations of recent stone clearance heaps. The second 'cairn' is scattered clearance upon a morainic mound.
