Three grass-grown mounds are situated in a line across a hollow at the head of a burn to the NE of Cnoc Loisgte. A shallow depression in the centre of each mound suggests that they are the remains of huts. The central mound is the largest and is oval in shape, measuring 7m from N to S by 4.6m and 0.4m in height. It is situated on a slight rise and has some stones protruding on the SE. The other two mounds, which lie 15m to the ENE (NG 2290 0492) and 52m to the W (NG 2282 0491) respectively, are both circular and measure 6.1m in diameter.
(Canna 323-5).
Visited by RCAHMS (IMS, ARG), 6 June 1994.
