This hut-circle lies on a terrace below a rock outcrop and measures 7.3m in diameter within a wall 1m in thickness and 0.6m in height. Several large inner and outer facing-stones are still visible, and there is a probable entrance in the ESE. To the E, an orthostatic wall curves away from the foot of the rock outcrop, before disappearing in the peat, and another short stretch can be seen 200m away to the SW (NG 2217 0485). The main system of orthostatic walls in this area lies well to the S, looping round the W side of the hollow in which the shieling group NG20SW 31 is situated and extending up the gully of Glac na Criche Deise to within a distance of 140m ESE of the hut-circle. Several walls drop down into the gully, and at least one extends along the contour.
(Canna 590).
