This subdivision takes in the headland Rubha Dubh and contains traces of several small plots of lazy-beds and a scatter of field clearance cairns. The surviving cultivation remains coincide with the area shown under cultivation on the 1805 map, but are by no means as extensive as this depiction. The largest surviving plot lies in a slight hollow on the W side of the headland. By 1881, the headland is shown in part as improved ground (OS 6-inch map, Argyllshire, 1st edition, 1881, sheet lix). It now falls within the enclosed fields of the modern farm, but the area is broken by numerous outcrops and is now devoted to pasture.
Visited by RCAHMS (ARG), 24 November 1997.
