NG20NE 98 centred 2520 0564

Three huts and an oval stony mound lie to the SW of the huts and buildings NG20NE 97, downslope from a plot of lazy-bed cultivation and on the N side of a modern fence (NG20NE 109.01). The huts are of different shapes, but the largest (NG 2522 0564), situated at the foot of a shallow slope, appears to be triangular. This hut measures 2.6m from E to W by 2m within a wall largely reduced to a stony bank 0.8m in thickness and 0.4m in height; a short stretch of inner face is visible. The mound is probably also the remains of a hut, but is now reduced to a low spread of earth and stones measuring 8.2m from ESE to WNW by 6m.
(Canna 834-7).
Visited by RCAHMS (ARG), 10 April 1995.
