An oval enclosure, defined for most of its circuit by a stony bank, lies at the foot of a stretch of rock outcrop above the foreshore; the enclosure abuts the outcrop, which effectively forms its NNW side. Internally, it measures 23m from NNW to SSE by 10m transversely, and is cut by a modern drain towards its N end.
