NG20NW 88 2344 0526 and 2350 0527
These two mounds are situated in an area of poorly drained ground between two burns. The first mound (NG 2344 0526) is grass-grown and measures 5.7m in diameter; the second (NG 2350 0527), which lies on a slight rise 50m to the ENE, is subrectangular and measures 9.8m from NE to SW by 4.3m and 0.6m in height. The latter contains a certain amount of stones, some of which appear to belong to a structure. A short stretch of an orthostatic wall can be traced in the gap between the two.
(Canna 448-9).
Visited by RCAHMS (IMS, ARG), 30 June 1994.
