This subrectangular enclosure and a grass-grown mound are situated on a narrow terrace on the N side of a burn. The enclosure is depicted on the current (1976) edition of the OS 1:10,000 map, and measures 6.2m from N to S by 5.2m transversely within walls of crudely coursed stones 0.8m in thickness and 0.7m in height. The E corner overlies the mound, which is 7m in diameter and 0.7m in height. The mound has been damaged by rabbit burrowing, and the upcast from a rabbit scrape yielded a sherd of a small globular pot with an everted rim.
(Canna 447, 969).
Visited by RCAHMS (IMS, ARG), 30 June 1994.
